Chico PLAZA PC Game 2020 Overview

Chico is not a game in the way you may think, even if you will be able to loot and craft; it is something we can call a screensaver customizer ( what you craft in the game is what you get in the screen saver ) and if you dont like to customize at all, then let the AI do it for you.
Our hero ( whos named Chico ) finds himself alone on the peak of a mountain in the middle of nowhere ( somewhere in the far west ); he can only get resources to create tools or buildings which might be useless during gameplay, but for sure will make his own life better, giving him a lot of different things to do in his free time ( when you are not forcing that poor guy to do something boring indeed ). For example if you get to build an hammock you might see Chico while taking some rest in your coffee time as soon as the screen saver starts ( or maybe not ).
The gameplay is very simple and intuitive because, as weve already said, the game purpose is to give you the ability to customize your own screensaver and thus see how Chico enjoys himself doing exciting sports like throwing stones against condors and more; for the same reason we have also introduced a new sandbox mode.

Look at all those juicy meat-sacks going to waste on those grotty humans! As the HyperParasite you can make better use of them, snatching hosts with your tentacles, absorbing them and their different abilities. Once they die you can discard their skin, but keep on snatching, since one shot as the parasite and its permadeath. That is, unless you found some nice upgrades, so keep your eyes openor your feelers highor whatever a parasite does.

Hosting makes me feel good

Feed the parasite with over 60 different characters, as you collect and control hosts, each with their own unique attack and smack-down. Hunt down the host class boss, rip their brain off (they didnt use it anyway), and take it back to Witos, our ever-greedy shopkeeper. Using some very weird machinery to store the brain, you can then unlock the character with your hard stolen cash. Theres even a storage unit for your already collected hosts to come back to in later games.

Since the game is procedurally generated, nobody knows whats waiting around the next dark corner. Can you survive the 5 Acts of this grungy-looking synthwave-filled world? However, as your ship approached this particular planet, something went bad with its engine, which caused a chain reaction of explosions from which only you survived when you crashed on the planet. From this point, you will decide how the story continues and ends.
A more detailed look at the mechanics of the game:
Three different AI storytellers: Cora Core, Tranquillio Pax and RNGesus Silvius. Each storyteller provides a different type of game play experience, from a nice curve of rising difficulty, to a chill sandbox experience, to something not even RNGesus can predict.
Harvest several types of minerals, alien flora and underwater resources.
Build modular buildings such as assemblers, floors, walls, energy producing buildings and more to construct a base.
Craft items, vehicles, blueprints and ammo.
Manage your needs, such as hunger, thirst, rest and leisure.
Survive raids made of space pirates or wildlife.

Manage your electrical system to make sure all buildings have enough energy to work.
Gaia contains intelligent AI, such as coward AI (for example, deer) that runs away from you if you come too close, passive AI like most other wildlife, aggressive AI like most monsters and all space pirates, or territorial AI like wolves and sand scorpions.
Gaia is designed to invoke feelings of adventure, survival and triumph. Inspired from games such as Rimworld, tower defense games, RPG games and even Paradox games, Gaia has a bit of everything. From the sandbox experience of Minecraft, the wave survival of tower defense games, to the beautiful graphics of RPGs like Skyrim and Subnautica, the game will provide a unique gameplay experience.
You have your own needs that affect gameplay, such as hunger and thirst. Make sure you eat prepared food, drink water, rest from time to time, relax by watching the sunset, go to the bathroom when needed and wash your hands. Failure to do so will cause problems, such as decreasing your max health, running speed or mental health, which itself can cause some pretty serious issues.
Choose from 4 different biomes every time you want to start a new game. Your starting location affects your playing experience, as you may start off on a beach near the ocean or somewhere inland in a dense or sparse forest. Each map comes with its own challenges and advantages and its up to you to adapt to the situation.
Gaia has a complex weather system, containing a day night cycle and a date system, wind, rain and temperature. These factors affect you as well as how some of your buildings work, like turbines. Make sure you take into account all of this when deciding what to build or what to do at any given time during the day. You might also want to prepare for winter time while its still warm outside.
Grow your own food and cook complex recipes, some which may require alien flora or alien meat. Every vegetable you grow has its own advantages or disadvantages, such as nutrition, time of growth and amount of harvest. Choose between corn, chili, carrots, onions, cabbage or even leeks.
Explore the depths of the ocean. You will need to build a submersible to reach deeper levels if you want to find diamonds and gold. Watch out for the biomechanical whale and other mysteries you might discover deep underwater.
